Leeway.

Busy as a bee,
yet you don't see.

The Key.

***

As seen, I change my blogs deco.
But as not seen, I still look the same in real life.

Chilly as the sea,
yet where else could it be.

The Lock - clicked.

Cheap

Words, words , words.
dreaming in the playground.

Tossed from you,
a pretty frisbee
or a stingy banshee.

You I,
with the play of words.

Cheap?
That's an overstatement of your worthless words,
echoing your weightless heart.

"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight."

'I ask of no other sunshine than the sunshine of His face'

Bare heights of loneliness...

a wilderness whose burning winds
sweep over glowing sands.

What are they to Him?

Even there He can refresh us,
even there He can renew us.

1. The Mirror, Mirror on the Wall in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
2. Him, one of the villians in Powerpuff Girls. His voice especially.
3. Teletubbies (This should be banned!)
4. The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come in The Christmas Carol.

For a moment in the cinema, I thought Christmas Carol actually made some horror flicks look like Sesame Street.

Not for the faint-hearted...

Nah, I'm half-joking;
it was a good movie.

No-Vamper

Remember, remember the eighteenth of November
nothing spectacular
life got monotone and perpendicular.

Up.down. Up. down.
and the world goes round.

like a vicious cycle?
never-ending..
ooooh merry-go-rounds!

Tick. Tock. Flip.flop
and Dumbo flaps its wings!
Whee.

Not wings doink. Big ears.

Big, humongous ears.
and those lost years...
filled with fears.

No more. no no more..

Living By Heart

Mummy's Flowers

Mom: Today I had an Australian customer that looked like Hugh Jackman..

Me: Wow, sure very good-looking one lah? He got girlfriend?

Mom: Yea, he bought a bouquet of flowers for her.

Me: Ohh..eh mom, how do you know it's not really Hugh Jackman?! It could be!

Mom: Aiyoh, because I asked him whether he was WOLVERINE lah and he laughed and said no!

On a somewhat related note, my mom has a new flower blog.

She's a florist and she might just ask you if you are a superhero, if you suspiciously look like any of them.

If she does, say yes will you?

Might get discount.

Blast from the Past.

Growing up, I thought my two older sisters were the coolest. This feeling, however, was not mutual.

I imitated the way they talked. liked the same bands they did, even though I didn't like those bands at all! Their first swear word was my first swear word. 11 years and 6 years gap. I remember once my second sis carved "WEEZER" over her brown cupboard. I thought it was hideous, but cos she did it, I decided it was the coolest artwork ever.

One day, inspired by Home Alone 1 or 2 plus the fact that she had scolded me again for being annoying, I put tens of sharp pins in front of her closed room door. Poured shampoo all over and covered the mischief with a white towel.

'Serves you right for slamming the door at me!'.

In my 6 year-old mind, she would open the door, walk right on it, slip and fall. Malicious huh? But reality, oh harsh harsh reality! She came out, picked up the towel...and "MOMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!"

She was the cause of most of my canings really. She was the sole and ever-ready supplier of canes cos canes would miraculously disappear from the house. ( I threw them ALL behind my piano, mwahaha!)

They loved reading. I couldn't sit still even if my life depended on it.

"Pesky, annoying, irritating. Most younger sisters are like that. Especially the youngest." so they chant.

Maybe cos we were lonely(very) and had nobody to play with? I can definitely identify with that.

Can't you? *insert irritating younger sister whine here*
