So an English Teacher from Ipoh will be sharing the same roof, walking the same stairs as us. I haven't met her yet, mom just told me. But, I'm excited.
Large piles of unwanted textbooks accumulated from my eldest sis to my youngest bro, had to be cleared from the room for our new guest.
I dump them all in a box, ready to be sold. I felt nothing.
' What are all those in the box? You're gonna sell them?' my sis asked.'Yea.''Oh, you sure you want to sell them? I usually don't sell my novels, I keep them.'' Yea, definitely. I would never sell the books I've read, it's like a relationship has already been formed between the book and me.. But those are just textbooks, I'm detached from them. very detached.'**
Talking about books...
Finding The Wind in the Willows in Czip Lee and E.B White's collection on
carmen's book shelf this week made me a happy girl, considering MPH dashed my hope prior to that saying that those books were out of print.
Shopping is therapeutic.
and more often than not, no price is too high to pay for a book that can change your life.
Anytime over clothes. Hands down.
