I remember when I was 12 in a camp,
the speaker asked me, "What is the one thing you dislike the most?"
" I don't like people who talk too much." I said, unsure if it was the right answer to say in front of all the campers, but it was no less to how I felt truly.
My answer hasn't changed.
With the bombardment of facebook notifications, ridiculous construction noise, blaring but empty conversations...I've come to appreciate silence. Not those awkward,self-conscious, uneasy silence; but one that comes out from the stillness of soul, steering sure above the swampy waves of chaos.
