Few days back, a good friend asked me if books were a necessity or a want.

' I'll say books are my close companions in life. They are only a necessity because living is a necessity. I wouldn't want to be someone always engrossed in a book and thus live poorly in the real world, but reading stories, insights, perspectives...enriches life in so many ways.

And I want that. Anyone can live, grow old, celebrate birthdays after birthdays, but living a life that is full, seeing it from people in history, who have been through life, adds flavour to my present life... reading from rich spiritual leaders who have saw a glimpse of God or known Him deeply, I don't know about you, but that's something I don't wanna miss, and definitely worth every penny.

and yes, I couldn't agree more that every life is a story, and how amazing God interwoves all the different stories into His one great,overarching story. '

It gives life a sense of joy and purpose, don't you think?
