Snowflakes

Untitled by allyson jean

It's been awhile since I played with jigsaw puzzles.
Ambitiously naive to start with five thousand pieces,
my sis and I abandoned it with the corners barely formed. barely.

Maybe we give up too easily, cos the 'big' picture just takes too long;
'It'll sure be a lot easier if they were all shaped in squares, fitting anywhere perfectly!';
those jagged edges, problematic to say the least.

Not a single piece of jigsaw alike,
like an unassuming snowflake.
The intricate wonders of an amazing portrait.

We sing too much of the spectacular spotlight,
tell me more about those moments...

Ordinary moments breathed in eternity.
