'...we are restless until we rest fully in Thee.' St. Augustine

The bland motions of meeting deadlines are pleasantly sprinkled with hearty laughters, sing-a-long sessions, and deep conversations.

Impatient distractions that dissipates desires, turning concentration into stray thoughts, made of naught.

Late nights sitting alone, gazing out into the starless sky,
thinking, asking, listening.

There is a quietness in the very heart of things.

Tea Story... by divya babu

It's four twenty in the morning, with two of my dearest friends sound asleep in my room.
It's not so much what you say, but the way your life speaks, sometimes without you saying anything.

Intimate, personal, tailored to fit perfectly.

Think more about the neighbor hand-picked by Him;
think less, far less about your exaggerated self.

As one receives freely, give freely ...without reserve, without fear.

To love and love simply, with no strings attached,
being with someone, just because they mean something to you.

Going to the both orphanages, I couldn't help but feel heart-seared.
Every private company has a certain Corporate Social Responsibility to meet, donating thousand, millions...
Advertisers who gave quarter-hearted goodies for the sake of cold-blooded publicity stunts.

What hurts more when no one cares?

It's having people show so much exterior of caring,
but had no intention in really loving you in the first place.
If this is not shattering, I don't know what is.

Wayfarer

A hot shower after a long day,
an early morning escape, soaked in the sun,
a cool breeze in the quiet, late nights...

Why are people so afraid of being alone?

Solitude, like friendship, is a gift I've come to cherish.

Story

Few days back, a good friend asked me if books were a necessity or a want.

' I'll say books are my close companions in life. They are only a necessity because living is a necessity. I wouldn't want to be someone always engrossed in a book and thus live poorly in the real world, but reading stories, insights, perspectives...enriches life in so many ways.

And I want that. Anyone can live, grow old, celebrate birthdays after birthdays, but living a life that is full, seeing it from people in history, who have been through life, adds flavour to my present life... reading from rich spiritual leaders who have saw a glimpse of God or known Him deeply, I don't know about you, but that's something I don't wanna miss, and definitely worth every penny.

and yes, I couldn't agree more that every life is a story, and how amazing God interwoves all the different stories into His one great, overarching story. '

It gives life a sense of joy and purpose, don't you think?
